I am so happy to share the news (and photos) that Kira and Andrew welcomed their 3rd son (my 3rd grandson) Jordan Derek into the world yesterday, Monday September 15, 2008 at 7:55 a.m. He is precious beyond words. One of the pictures is of auntie Shelsi holding the precious bundle.

Shelsi is still gaining her strength back and keeping busy with school and Avon. We have sold out of the books and I am just waiting to hear from the agent before ordering more. She passed it on to her co-editor to read and I've been told I'll be hearing from them soon. Again, if you have finished it and would like to send me your comments, I'd love to hear them, and perhaps use them to improve the next printing, or as a quote on the back cover.

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th, 2007, she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. She has completed her first round of Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments, but because a tumor was discovered in her brain it was necessary for her to undergo yet another round. After a stem-cell transplant proceedure, she is cancer free and blithely on the way to full recovery. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
