Hi All,

It's Saturday night and I just spent a beautiful afternoon and evening with Shelsi and Eric. We met with a man who owns a health food store here in Aliso Viejo. He has spent his life in the business and is extremely knowledgeable. He started out as a Dr. of Veterinary medicine, but moved on to people. He put Shel on a regimin of supplements to help rebuild her immune system and restore her to perfect health. After that we spent the rest of the afternoon with Pam, a beautiful soul I work with, who did some bald glamour shots of Shelsi. As soon as I have some of the shots to post, I will. I think they turned out wonderful - how could they not?

And, while all this was going on, back in New York a group of high school kids were doing a fundraiser, supervised by a very dear and old friend (not her, the friendship.) Margaret Bianculli. She teaches at Beach Channel High in Rockaway Park, New York and she met Ric, Shelsi's father, back in New York when he was a Missionary. By 4:00 this afternoon this amazing group, lead by students, Travis, Nijer, Greg and Erika had already raised $683.01 for Shelsi and Laynes Legacy! I have included a picture of them preparing for the event. If anything moves me to tears, it's kids learning what it's like to give back, and make a difference. I hope these kids know - THEY MADE A DIFFERENCE!

It looks like that hair cut for Steve may be closer than he thinks;-)

Much love to ALL.

Sheri

Shelsi is the daughter of Sheri and Ric Hancock, and the wife of Eric Stolworthy. On Jan 25th she was diagnosed with "Diffused Large B-cell lymphoma" -- in other words, Cancer. It manifested as an 14 cm mass in her chest that was pushing on her heart and constricting the blood flow to the rest of her body. Now she is out of Intensive Care but is still undergoing Chemotherapy treatments. Her husband Eric, her parents Ric & Sheri and all the rest of her family and friends thank you dearly for all your prayers and support!
